To conclude the semester, you will create a multimodal project that reimagines one of your written assignments from the semester (your Mediated Values, Citizen Summary and Analysis, Cultural Narrative and Analysis, or Documented Argument). You will be required to draw upon one of the previous four essays you wrote for this class, rewrite it in another form, and present it to the class. Writers in the 21st century increasingly compose and produce writing that communicates in digital environments and across space and time. Writing is no longer tethered solely to alphabetic text in a Microsoft Word document. In this assignment, you will choose a mode that is not solely alphabetic in nature; this form can be something as simple as a PowerPoint or as inventive as a podcast or video. We will discuss multimodal options later in the semester.
